Listen. Create.
Persuade.
We help startups, big thinkers, corporates,
not-for-profits and everyone else in-between, to better own their conversations.
From audience and nuance, to channel and sentiment, our approach is always founded in strategy and insight.
The brands we work with create real,
honest and emotional connections with their communities.
What makes Loam different?
We are incredibly passionate. We don’t sugar-coat things.
We don’t do things by halves. We believe deeply in the need for
empathy and ethics in our trade.
This flows into the companies we work with, the promises we make and the results we deliver. We expect the same from our partners. You must genuinely care about the impact you make (one person, business and planet at a time).
Agree? Sounds like we’d get along.
Loam is led by senior comms strategist, Clementine Crowther.
Clem has led teams at some of the world’s most recognised and well-respected public relations, creative and communications agencies. She’s helped hundreds of brands craft and tell their stories.
She embraces a purpose-led approach that’s grounded in strategy and a business’ objectives. Her focus is always on a brand’s audience and the best ways to engage with them, not ‘tick the box’ or ego-stroking campaigns.
Her experience is broad covering tech, startups, health, b2b, consumer, not-for-profits, payments, retail, sustainability and resources.
Clem has a soft spot for companies with a gutsy but humble attitude.
This has seen her launch global brands into Australia, build Australian businesses into household names, craft regional strategies for unicorns and guide local startups in finding their voice.
She is also an expert in distilling complex topics and loves creating groundswell for those in need. This extends to helping stakeholder groups manage industry change sensitively.
Clem started Loam as acknowledgement in the power of community. Loam isn’t a one stop shop, but a collective of experts who love what they do. Teams are built on the client’s needs with the ability to scale up as they grow.
Clem was previously the president of the Western Australian division of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) and a mentor for Women in Media. As part of her PRIA role, she represented WA on the PRIA national board as a non-executive director.
